Hello, this is Oyuka, a fluent Korean speaker and Korean language tutor with a background in literature and linguistics from Seoul National University of Science and Technology. My lessons help learners build confidence in speaking, pronunciation, and everyday communication. My teaching is supportive and structured, and adapted to each student’s level and goals. I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated and encouraged to use Korean.

I have worked as a classroom teacher, IB examiner, and Internal Assessment moderator with IBO directly, so I understand how students learn in real classrooms and how their work is evaluated in official assessments. My academic background includes engineering with university gold medals and ranks, an MTech, an MSc in Mathematics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGCE), the International Baccalaureate Educator Certificate (IBEC, a prestigious certificate in IB), and ongoing PhD research in Mathematics.
