What we teach
What we cover in A-Level Maths.
Pure Mathematics.
Algebra and functions, sequences and series, trigonometry, exponentials and logarithms, differentiation, integration, numerical methods, vectors. The conceptual spine of the qualification.
Statistics.
Sampling, data presentation, probability, statistical distributions, hypothesis testing. Strong focus on the linked large data set required by some specifications.
Mechanics.
Kinematics, forces and Newton's laws, moments. Building the modelling discipline that university maths and engineering courses then expect.
Exam technique.
Mark-scheme analysis, common pitfalls, and the structured approach to multi-step problems that examiners reward. Past-paper practice in every lesson.
What to expect
How lessons run.
Weekly 1:1 sessions in our online classroom. Each lesson begins with a check-in on the previous week, progresses through new content with worked examples, and ends with a homework set drawn from past papers. Progress is reviewed every half-term against the plan agreed at the start.
Questions about A-Level Maths tuition
How is the starting point agreed?
A recent problem and the student’s working help identify whether to focus on algebra, modelling or the choice of method. Lessons can build those skills before returning to timed questions.
What does tuition cost?
Subject tuition is €100 for a sixty-minute lesson. A weekly term is €1,000 for 10 lessons; it reserves continuity rather than providing a volume discount.
See the current fees and term arrangementsHow are the tutor and lessons arranged?
We discuss the subject, exam board, goals and availability before matching a tutor. Lessons are online. The plan and practical arrangements are agreed before teaching begins.
