What we teach
What we cover in A-Level Physics.
Mechanics and materials.
Kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, materials behaviour. The conceptual base of the entire qualification.
Electricity and waves.
Circuits, electric and magnetic fields, wave properties, optics. Taught so that calculation and explanation are practised together, as the papers examine them.
Fields and further mechanics.
Gravitational, electric, magnetic. Circular motion, simple harmonic motion. The topics where the mathematics steps up, taught from the working outwards.
Nuclear and particle physics.
Particle physics, nuclear physics, radioactivity. Taught with the links back to fields and mechanics that questions on this topic draw on.
What to expect
How lessons run.
Weekly 1:1 sessions in our online classroom. Strong emphasis on the modelling, calculation and structured working that A-Level Physics demands: setting the problem up, showing each step, and stating the answer with its units. Past-paper work and exam technique built in from the first session.
Questions about A-Level Physics tuition
Which A-Level Physics exam boards do you cover?
We offer A-Level Physics tuition for Edexcel, AQA, OCR and Cambridge. Lessons are planned around the student's specification, goals and examination timetable.
How are Physics lessons taught?
Lessons are one to one in our online classroom. They combine subject understanding with calculations, structured working and past-paper practice, including how to set out an answer and use units correctly.
Read about our teaching approachHow much does A-Level Physics tuition cost?
Subject tuition is €100 for a sixty-minute lesson. Weekly termly enrolment is €1,000 for 10 lessons over ten teaching weeks.
See prices and enrolment arrangementsHow will we hear about progress?
