November 2026

GCSE Maths resits.

Ten weeks separate results day from the first paper. That is long enough to change a grade, and short enough that the work has to start from what went wrong rather than from page one.

Entries close: 4 October 2026

Exams: 2 to 11 November 2026 on the common timetable

Results: 14 January 2027

The November series carries Mathematics and English Language only. We teach the Maths; every other subject waits for summer 2027.

The course

Ten hours, spent on what is actually wrong.

A retake is not a second run at the syllabus. Every student starts with an assessment against the paper they have just sat, and the ten hours go on the marks that were lost: the misconceptions underneath them, and the exam technique that turns working into marks.

  • Assessed against the paper just sat, so the ten hours go where the marks went.
  • Foundation and Higher tier both taught, and we will say plainly if a tier change is the better route to the grade.
  • Past-paper technique under timed conditions, with work set between sessions.
  • Experienced teachers only, vetted through our Safer Recruitment process before they meet a student.

Questions we are asked.

When is the November 2026 GCSE Maths resit?

Exams run from 2 to 11 November 2026 on the common timetable, entries close on 4 October 2026, and results reach candidates on 14 January 2027. Individual paper dates vary by board: Edexcel, for example, sits its three Maths papers on 4, 6 and 9 November.

Which subjects can be resat in November?

The November series carries Mathematics and English Language only, plus Welsh and Cymraeg for candidates in Wales. Every other subject waits for summer 2027. We teach the Maths.

How long have I got?

Results day is 20 August and the first paper is 2 November, which is almost exactly ten weeks. That is enough for a weekly slot through the autumn, which is what we would usually recommend, with the intensive course for anyone deciding later.

Who enters me for the exam?

Your school or college, or an exam centre that accepts private candidates. A tutor cannot enter you. If you are moving to a sixth form or college in September, ask them early, because the 4 October deadline arrives quickly once term starts.

What does it cost?

€700 per student in a group of four, or €1,170 one to one, for five two-hour sessions. A weekly slot for the ten weeks is €1,170. Groups start at 4.30pm UK time; one-to-one runs on any day agreed with the tutor, including Saturdays.

Four places per group

Tell us the subject and the grade that came back. We confirm a group by email once four students are matched at the same level, agree the days and times, and send a secure payment link. Nothing is payable, and no date is fixed, until then. One-to-one teaching starts with a free thirty-minute consultation.

No payment is taken now. We confirm the group first.
