What we teach
Support for independent work.
Independent thinking.
Practise how to frame and examine questions using examples separate from the assessed task. The student chooses and develops their own research question with school guidance.
Research skills.
Learn general approaches to evaluating sources, referencing and organising a project. Work on the actual assessment must stay within the support permitted by the school and the relevant IB guide.
Clear boundaries.
We do not write, rewrite, proofread or offer repeated draft reviews of assessed work. A private tutor does not replace the school’s supervisor or provide an extra feedback cycle.
Agree support with the school.
Before assessment-specific support is discussed, the student must check the applicable subject guide, assessment year and school policy with their coordinator. If a formal external-mentor arrangement is appropriate, the school must approve and define it.

Sessions support learning and organisation alongside the school’s timetable. The school remains responsible for supervision, reflection sessions and authentication. We do not promise a particular assessment mark.

Which guidance applies to my assessment?
The requirements depend on the subject and assessment year. The Extended Essay changes for first assessment in 2027. Start with your school’s coordinator and the current IB guidance before arranging any assessment-specific support.

We do not provide an additional editing or repeated-review service for assessed drafts. Discuss permitted feedback with the school’s supervisor. Our work focuses on subject knowledge and general skills outside the assessed submission.
